Several TAMPs were notable in documenting how they manage assets with life cycle plans. Included in this case study are examples from the DOTs in Minnesota, Ohio, Tennessee, and New Jersey The asset management plans demonstrated increasing emphasis upon planning for the whole life of assets and using life-cycle strategies to achieve a state of good repair (SOGR). The plans also demonstrated the value of pavement and bridge management systems in support of life-cycle strategies.
